Vlasics György: Sad Kat's Ballad

Katie was a sad wife before she died
all her life belongs to run and hide
She played in main title of spleen of holy
as she slaved in deeply melancholy

God invited her as an unexpected guest
it picked inside of her so hard and fast
intemperance, self-abuse and sloth
flying over her life like a moth

She needed a child
but couldn't make it
She needed her faith
grab and take it

Everything was all her faults
not her husband (nor his thougths)
not his faith what he gave
from the cradle to the grave

Grab the trust and take away
counting on what they say
drop it down
(low and crown)
come and gone
(come undone)
Slow it down what she thought

But her thougths that never slow
she was sick to death and wanted to go
she found that middle rope
and that gave her a little hope:
"I wanted to give for my man
a nice family and children!"
"This is exit from my fate,
From my life what i hate"

Grab the life and take away
counting on what they say
get it down
fate undone
is that a real solution?

Silent wings came on that Eve
and middle rope laid on her sleeve
when Katie walked her final way
she had nothing what she'd to leave
nothing but her family had to lost
to lost an state of love and trust

A spirit lamp threw out light
when she's arrived there
Black rain fallen on her head
knot of rope laid on her neck
She'd tied end of rope to the Well
and then jumped to the hell

Get it down
come undone
It's over
ring her bell
It's too late
She's in hell
